November 2, 2002 Pennsylvania, New Jersey and much of southern New England are now in the spotlight for fall foliage as high (61 to 80 percent) to peak color dominate. Much of upstate New York is still in peak, although the amount of leaf drop is high. Leaf drop is mostly high in the region, with nearly complete drop in areas that have past peak and moderate leaf drop in the southern reaches of the Northeast. This information provided by Marek D. Rzonca, The Foliage Network.
