Foliage Report #16

October 23, 2004

Peak continues to pass in northern New England and northern New York. Elsewhere in the Northeast, high color (61% - 80% change) to peak conditions can be found. There are a few areas still reporting moderate color (31% - 60% change), the Greater Boston area (although everyone is seeing RED there....GO SOX!!!!!!), southern New Jersey and southeast Pennsylvania.

Where peak has passed, leaf drop is high to nearly complete. Elsewhere in the region, drop is mostly moderate to high.
