The foliage change is still very slow to get going in the Northeast. The next couple of evenings will feature temperatures sinking into the 30s and 40s in much of the Northeast. Perhaps that will get things going a bit in the region. At this point in time, there is very little to no change in most of the Northeast. The exceptions being parts of western New Hampshire and an area along the New York-Pennsylvania border where low color (11% - 30% change) is being reported.
If you are planning a leaf-peeping trip and don't have lodging reservations, don't hesitate any longer! Many Bed & Breakfasts and Inns book solid during the foliage season. Don't miss out! Please visit our Places to Stay and Foliage Spotters sections to find a great place to stay.
