Portions of the Northeast received some much needed rain the past couple of days. The previous month has been quite dry across the region. Areas of low color change (11% - 30%) are beginning to pop up in parts of the region. They include northern Vermont, western New Hampshire, the Berkshire in western Massachusetts, upstate New York, northern New Jersey and parts of northern and southern Pennsylvania.
Leaf drop in most areas is still very low, with sporadic reports of low drop.
